Ode to Spring

Oh beautiful spring

what true joy you bring

you are a magnificent thing

that makes me wish to sing

the color of green

the suns bright sheen

the air so clean

its a glorious scene

the end of the cold

what beauty untold

around this I wish

all the seasons would mold

the flowers in bloom

the bees buzz and zoom

there is no gloom

no feeling of doom

the animals are back

the ducks with their quack

the bears in their black

they are hungry for a snack

but do not fear

for they will not attack

there is so much to do

so much to see

so much for you

so much for me

so much to do
