Glory Road

8.5/10

Glory Road tells the story of Don Haskins (Josh Lucas) the coach of Texas Western. This story is a big part of sports history because this was the first team to start 5 black players in the NCAA. The movie goes through when Don first becomes the coach, how he recruits players, how the team deals with and overcomes racism, and wins the 1966 NCAA basketball championship. It’s a heartfelt movie much like Remember the Titans with good acting, and enjoyable basketball.

MPAA Rating: PG for racial issues including violence and epithets, and mild language.
